Janet Kong, an AAPG Wildcatters officer, is starting the spring semester as an exchange student at the University of Stavanger. She is an M.S. student working on Antarctic glacial history with Dr. Julia Wellner. Congratulations, Janet!

Congrats to our IBA Team, Eric Lunn, Andrew Steier, Delaney Robinson, Leiser Silva, and Walter Reed, for placing 1st in a field of nine schools for the Gulf Coast Section! They will be competing on April 1st at the Worldwide Competition in Houston, TX.

It is our great pleasure to welcome Christine Piela from BP to give a talk about the daily work of an operations geologist this Friday in SR1 634 at 1pm.

It is our great pleasure to welcome Noelle Joy Purcell from Shell Technology Company this Friday at 1 pm in SR1 634.  She will be giving a talk about what to expect as a new graduate hire when joining a large oil and gas company.
